It’s also crucial to not destroy any of the crumbly walls surrounding you. The plan outlined above means planting that first attacker in that one open space and just leaving them there. A great tactic would be to have Ivy in the middle of the three groups wearing Emblem Lucina, as she’ll add an extra attack for almost anyone if you need to go on the attack. More recent fans of Fire Emblem may recognize this as the strategy for surviving Priam’s Paralogue in Fire Emblem Awakening, which is fitting considering Priam is a descendant of Ike’s and is itself an echo battle. Bonus points if the tome person can also Chain Guard. Position a tome person right behind them, then flank the tome welder with a strong unit that can use long range attacks (like Spears or Hand Axes).
The overall strategy is this: for the first wave, put one of your lead attackers in the one entry points to the left, right, and south-center. This will give you a high chance of Breaking them and following up without threat of a counter. This is doubly so for anyone who can wield axes, as almost all of the armored units use lances. On those frontline attackers, make sure to equip them with Armorslayers and Hammers, as they’ll be the first to greet the armored units. In addition to them, bring a couple of frontline units like Diamant and Kagetsu to lead the charge in the one-square long space that will be between you and the first wave of enemies with our strategy. Tomes will rule the day here, so stock up on some magic users. That said, leave your dagger throwers and maybe most of your archers at home. The enemies here are almost the exact opposite of those in the previous paralogue - very few of them have ranged weaponry and they’re mostly all armored.
